Greetings! XYZ here. I am an artist here in the States and I just tried mint this morning and I am very impressed. I have a problem getting sound in Bianca; but wireless works fine. This is my first attempt at linux.

Welcome XYZ,
I am not an expert myself, but may I suggest something simple.
Right click on the speaker icon on the panel and select Open Volume Control.
Check the settings there to see if your Master control is all the way up and not muted. Just a possibility!
