Lagging, stuttering in operations.

Post by NeilMac »

Dont know how else to describe it but what Im experiencing is when Im typing like I am now and look back some of the words or letters are missing like the machine cant keep up. I get stutters in other operations like clicking on a link, have to do it a couple times sometimes or it could take several seconds when i click on a new tab in firefox. The only thing running in the background is bittorent usually, this machine is only used for the internet.
Getting frustrating.

Running Cinnamon 2.48
AMD Athalon II X2 240
memory 3 gigs
GT610

Thanks!

I don't know the solution to the problem you are having, but it's a pretty safe bet that the people who can help you will want to know more about your computer. Open a terminal and type 'inxi -Fxz' (without the quotes) and copy/paste the output here.
