Mint KDE- How to set Suspend Key Fn+F2?

Postby rahim on Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:48 pm

I have Mint KDE on my Dell Inspiron B130 (1300) laptop. It works really well except for the Function+Key combinations for suspend-to-ram and suspend-to-disk. From the KDE shutdown menu, suspend and hibernate work fairly well, but the Fn+F1 which should trigger suspend-to-ram actually causes it to suspend-to-disk. And the Fn+F2 which should trigger a suspend-to-disk does nothing. This is strange, because these keys worked perfectly in Linux Mint Gnome Bianca. Did something change is the suspend architecture since the Gnome version?

Thanks a lot for your help!
