Upgrade KDE Edition to Fiesty

Postby mistapony on Tue May 01, 2007 5:19 pm

Just curious if anyone has upgraded their Mint KDE edition to 7.0.4 I know there are issues with the Gnome edition because of all the mint apps but since the KDE edition doesn't really include its own apps would it upgrade fine?

I'd rather not break my system so If anyone has done this let me know.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

The kde edition seems to upgrade fine. I have upgraded and been using it for 3 days now. No problems yet. The way I upgraded was.

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

After that:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install update-manager-core

then
Code: Select all
sudo do-release-upgrade

When asked, I kept my previous conf files.
