I've been using Mint on by box for some months now and it has loaded up consistantly and worked without flaw.

But now, for some strange reason, the gnome panel won't complete loading and a bug report appears. I save the bug report and the panel attempts to reload and the bug report appears again. In other words, I'm caught in a loop that makes the GUI side of the operating system unusable.

I paste the bug report below in the hope that someone might be able to decipher it and even suggest a solution.

BTW, the OS in question is Mint Bea that has been partially upgraded (repositories at least) to Bianca.

I see "calls" that unfortunately don't tell me much.
But the very first line reads

Memory status: size: 36884480 vsize: 0 resident: 36884480 share: 0 rss: 15847424 rss_rlim: 0

This means 36 MB memory which is really strange unless it's video memory....
