I have decided to start another post where we can discus what Christian applications are out there for linux that can be used on mint.

if you know of any please feel free to share it with us here so anyone interested can easily find what they are looking for.

There are a number of bible applications out there you may like to try.

1. Xiphos formally known as Gnome sword

2. BibleTime (for the kde desktop)

These all use the sword project libraries
3. Sword Searcher (works in wine)

4. E-sword (if you already have wine)

5. online bible study sites. i prefer e-sword live as you have an account and it will
remember where you where up to. so you can log in anywhere and continue your study.

IMHO xxxchurch http://xxxchurch.com/ , is the best application for this, unfortunately they are not planning
on making a lunux/ubuntu version .
