Can I disable forced fsck?

Postby timmyflight on Mon Jul 23, 2007 5:48 pm

Hi, I was wondering how I could disable the forced fsck (every 27 boots).
My system never gives me any problems at all except when the forced fsck runs.
When it runs it always finds I/O errors, then says it cannot correct them unless
I run fsck manually. The manual operation of fsck goes ok except that I have to
keep hitting enter to ignore the errors and then force overwrite them.
So I was wondering if I could just disable the auto fsck and just run it manually if I
have any problems?
Thanks in advance for any input :)
