Sound problem

Postby durkhrod chogori on Tue Aug 07, 2007 3:11 am

Hi guys,

This issue happens when I try to play my mp3 files but when I go to System>Preferences>Sound (I got enabled my speakers as Altec Lansing XT1-USB audio) and test them under Devices, they work. Very odd.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

DC.

It seems you use usb audio. You have to select USB audio in the player, where you do that depends on which player you have, but it should be in preferences

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Thx for your reply but now is working. I am not sure whether the reason was installing the NVIDIA drivers or not but after doing that it worked. Very odd.

Cheers.
