does anyone know how to put linux into realtime processing for mission critical applications?
honestly i just want to make it faster lol and im also curious how this is done.

if you are referring to RTIS, linux is vary capable of that, as it's core came from UNIX and UNIX and really known for RTIS.

You can really gain a lot by disabling some of the unneeded stuff. And real time processing has next to no influence whatsoever on boot speeds
If you still start too many unneeded services during boot time then also a real-time system will boot slow like a snail.-
