guest account

I had lost icons and right click option on my desktop so I created a new account...it fixed the problem, however, my start menu shows "Daryna" instead of Cassandra.
The only thing I can think of is that somehow my virtual installation of Daryna in virtualbox has invaded my guest account somehow.
Any ideas?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

No that is not possible.

have you updated your /etc/apt/sources.list file.
ie did you change or add the daryna repo to the file?

if you did when you next updated the packages in daryna would have been upgraded (since they are newer).

:D

Thanks for you quick response. I didn't think I had, but I look back through some of my lists and there it was---with the # gone!
Oh well, everything, still works ok anyway.
Thanks again.
