Xmms freezes in Bea

Postby npap on Fri Jan 12, 2007 2:31 pm

Hello everybody,
Has anyone had the following problem? What can be done to fix it?

Xmms, after playing the first Midi file, stops working and freezes up on the desktop. I can't take it off and I can only minimize it.
It will work again on a new session, if I restart my PC.

Thanks in advance,
regards, npap

Hi
This is an Edgy Bug;
http://www.mail-archive.com/ubuntu-bugs ... 36728.html
I know that doesn't help :)
Instead of logging out, why not type xkill
and drag skull and crossbones to xmms
Works OK in Etch so I assume exclusive to Edgy, will get back if I can find cure.

Do you know about Audacious?

It is the only XMMS fork that is still being developed.
