Mint won't recognize my windows music partition

Postby Newbie!!! on Thu Nov 22, 2007 6:22 pm

Hello everyone. Recently downloaded this user friendly linux distro (mint daryna) and so far so good. The only problem I'm having is that when I had the older version ( bea) the music partition would show in the desktop. Now that I downloaded this new version it doesn't appear. Can someone tell me what might be wrong ?

I have windows, music partition ( as D) and linux mint

Thanks!

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

i have the same problem after installing, but when restart in windows and again {later date} mint everything showed up. i have tWo windows partitions and audio/movie partition, plus usb drive and another data partition all showing on the desktop.

i can also write on each of them after installing NTFS read-write prog through SYNAPTIC
