Default Wallpaper/s Gone

I just installed Mint, one problem is my old desktop wallpapers were retained and the default wall papers from Mint are missing.

Its probably because i didnt format my /home folder.

Can you guys tell me how to recover the default wallpapers from linux mint bea?

Or send/post them here for me to download?

I wish to put new photos in this folder but there are no rights! How to put in this folder of a photo? How to change access rights to this folder?

use sudo when copying...
