[Solved-ish] Mint 11 Login Screen

Is there a way to change the Mint Login screen? I have been looking, and it seems like this used to be a simple thing to do in Mint 8 and 9, but not now. Can someone help me out? I want to change the way it looks, change the background at the very least, etc. Thanks in advance!

I don't want it to change automatically. I want it too look like this which i found here

I also wonder if there's a way to change the login screen of LM 12. My login screen suddenly turned black. I didn't really change my system or something; the default background wallpaper just won't show up.

Does anybody have a similar problem or a fix for this?

I found this first post here to work for me. Idk bout in 12, since I am using 11. I would imagine something similar though. I think 12 May use LightDM (viewtopic.php?f=90&t=91010&p=527109&hilit=gdm#p527109) but i wish you luck too!

Thanks, soccerz619! I'm going to try one of these methods. I've already tried other ways to fix this error; without success so far. But hey, it's Linux! There's always a solution. ;D
