'nother noob

Postby J_D_ on Sun Mar 30, 2014 8:42 am

J_D_ here. Started with Mint 16 MATE yesterday. Booted right up and I was surprised how user friendly it is. Couple noob issues to deal with but the OS looks good to me. Anyway, the issues are for the tech guys and I am posting here to say Hi and thanks for the support.

Thanks to all. Hoping to not have too many questions. I am old and have been brainwashed by windows for years.

61. No computer in 84. Not even sure when I started using them but it was for work and I did not own one. Now I dont know how anyone could get by without one. Ive only had laptops since around 2001. I do have a smart TV and I use it for surfing Craigs list and ebay.
