new Mint 13 / Mate user

Been a user of 'buntu for a few years. I have two servers with 'buntu 10.04. I tried to like Unity and Gnome 3.4 on my desktop, I just can't do it. I do like Cinnamon but it doesn't seem too stable yet. I'll stick with Mate until Cinnamon is mature. I mostly lurk as I usually have questions but no answers.
If you haven't donated yet, you need to NOW. These distros need all the $$ help they can get to continue to improve.

In the Mint Menu, in the Internet section, start the application XChat IRC.
