Introducing myself...

Hi Mint users,
I realized after posting in another section of this forum that I had not yet introduced myself, how rude of me !
I am a 27 years old ordinary geek from France, working in IT, and long time GNU/Linux user.
I started playing with Linux in 2001 with Mandrake 8, then did a lot of distro hopping... Debian, Gentoo, Fedora, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, Arch ... then Mint.
I now use LMDE with Cinnamon on my desktop at hope, and the XFCE edition at work in a Virtualbox !
For me Mint (and more particularly LMDE Cinnamon) brings the best of the Linux desktop : works out of the box, beautiful desktop environment, easy updates,
stable, no clutter, and still highly configurable to your needs.
I did two or three donations to the project since I know Mint but I am so happy with it that I recently decided to give on a monthly basis.
And of course... the community seems great, glad to be a part of it.
Hope Mint will get really far in popularizing the GNU/Linux desktop ! (it already has anyway)
Thanks for reading !
