I've been experimenting with various distributions for awhile. I like Zorin OS 6 quite well. And I got Mint 13 on a veteran superuser's recommendation. In no time there was this Mint 14. Must be better, right? OK, giving it a try. Pretty smooth so far, if she outruns Zorin and is stable and secure, we're golden.

One thing I must say; looking thru the posts on ths forum is that there is folk from everywhere in the world. What a diverse group. People from all over. I'm finding some real interesting stuff here on the Mint Forums. This kind of computing is the cat's meow. Users that want it spoon fed are missing out. Becoming one with the machine really is the best way to understand.
