Mint 14; My new Primary go to OS

Hello world!
Or at least the world of mint.
Since I am officially using Mint as my principal OS I'd figured might as well get into the community.
So here I am.
I already got a few things I want to discuss but formally I must present myself before getting in over my head.
Of course Mint 14 isn't my first experience with Linux and certainly won't be my last.
A little aboot me ( see what I did there? Because I'm Canadian ) :
I'm a computer science student @uOttawa, always looking for optimal programs and absolutely hate inefficiency in coding ( everything else doesn't matter )
I have done a lot of programming and a little game programming before, given on unity and flash platforms.
I've done modeling with Blender, some 3dsmax but that was simply for porting.
I hate math, on paper, but not in my programs.
Anyways, MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITION PYLONS!
I'll be posting in these parts of the internet for suggestions and bugs reports...
and from time to time I might ask for help or be rash about my opinions
