What's up ???
Justin here... always had a curious and distance relationship with linux til android came along and opened my eyes.. i'm curious... i have a moderate interest and natural talent for logical object based programming... I'm curious and want to learn as much as i can about both linux and basic "hacking" of the os's and devices and development... What are the best sources of information for this?

Welcome aboard Justin!
Here is a link to a great book on learning the linux command line: http://linuxcommand.org/index.php
Here is a thread on linux programming resources: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8519 ... mming-book
After you learn a bit about Linux and get comfortable with the terminal and compiling from source I would recommend Linux From Scratch(the ultimate way to learn more about the internals of your Linux system): http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/
