Unplugged frrom the Matrix

Greetings to everyone,
My name is Pete and I finally said goodbye to Windows yesterday. I tried out Fedora on my laptop two days ago and started exploring the Linux community, ideology etc. at large and if you will excuse the crude reference 'It felt like I had been unplugged from the Matrix'.
Linux has a huge advantage for new users with the Live CD approach. After trying out Mint I decided to replace Fedora and put it on all my home machines. I enjoy being like a kid again figuring out how things work and getting used to the new system. However, I was also impressed at just how well everything runs straight out of the box on mint.
Thanks for reading this far past my ramblings A big thank you to the mint community and devs for doing such great work and helping to preserve internet freedom.
Best Wishes,
Pete.
