Afternoon all

Well, it's afternoon in England as I type.
I'm new to Mint, having come across as a refugee from Ubuntu (guess why??!!) via Bhodi which, whilst the ideals are good, was immensely frustrating. I've been a Mint 14 user for all of 2 days so far and I have to say it's very good. I'm also really impressed with the level of help on this forum and, whilst I can't see myself offering advice anytime soon, can see that pretty much every issue which could ever arise will have been covered somewhere, or can be sorted out pretty quickly.
I think I'm going to enjoy this.
