Been trying to get away from windows for quite some years but my gaming addiction (counterstrike) kept me there but with Steam on Linux finally I can move to Linux yay.
I have tried several times in the past with red hat and Debian and Ubuntu but I could never get counterstrike performing as it should under wine so ended up back @ windows. Anyways counterstrike source is running great under Linux Mint/steam on Linux
I did try under kubuntu but had a few problems namely the steam client kept failing to update and I could not get the latest ATI drivers to install either. Thankfully both of these worked smoothly in Linux mint. So here I am.
Also spotted a few threads on the forum I thought I may be able to help with.
