Application for cyber asylum, I defected from Windows!

A renegade on the run! Tired of passing through the Hell of G8s and a renegade on a path to cyber-freedom.
Had been in IT as a secondary career since 1982 and retired in 1999 but first helped a retail organisation enter 2000 without a hiccup. I was a small-town computer reseller who did educational software, agricultural systems and CAD/CAM over and above Pastel accounting, POS systems and the usual PC vendoring. My primary career was that of financial manager and adviser.
I first started reading about Linux after my retirement and then started using it in 2009. Tried various distros such as AriOS, openSuSe, Ubuntu, Sabayon and Mint.
I live in a country where Mandela is free but nothing else is, except for Linux!
