I just installed Linux Mint 15 "XFCE' edition on an old Lenovo Ideapad S103 netbook. I got the 'book free, but got really tired of WinXP. (I am essentially a Mac user, but see Linux in my future.)
Anyway, I had run Mint a few years ago on my iMac, but uninstalled it as I was experiencing boot issues with it. This, however, will be a permanent install (am dual booting w/XP still there). I like the netbook, really handy and portable, and now am thoroughly enjoying Mint.
So, not really "new" to Linux, having run Kubuntu and Mint for a few months a while back. This time seems a permanent go-around.
Back with Mint but now on netbook
