Starting fresh with Mint 15!

Postby Procoro on Thu Aug 22, 2013 11:47 pm

Hey everyone, I just installed a fresh copy of Mint 15 with KDE on my linux drive, I had been running Mint 13 previously but I didn't do much with it as I have been super busy. Very much liking KDE over Cinnamon this time around, but I'm trying to get used to daily driving this installation and that has me asking a zillion questions - forums here I come!

I've used Linux (Ubuntu) sparingly in the past, mostly for set and forget Folding@Home machines that I could run a custom kernel on and not worry about it afterwards, so trying to get everything running as I'd like is going to be fun. I'll still keep my Windows 8 install around for heavy gaming only (I have Crossfire HD 7950's at the moment) but I'm going to try hard and use this for everything else.

I look forward to reading all the good information on this board!
