Greetings, I Installed Linux Mint 72 hours ago, and everything is going very well so far. This is my first time using Linux. I was a die hard Windows user since 1995. I started playing around with a MAC someone gave me, and I really started to love the OS vs Windows, since I can't afford a MAC I started looking at Linux, and chose to install Ubuntu but I did not like the look and feel of it. I then chose to install Linux Mint Cinnamon 15, and am really in pressed. I have not had to boot back in to windows to do anything, but did go back to run ccleaner and tidy up a bit, and now I can't hardly stand looking at it or using it anymore.
Sadly I won't ever be able to totally kick windows, because I am a PC tech and am forced to support windows. But as long as things keep going well I will be spending 99.9% of my time in Mint. My system is a home built on a Asus board, Intel Pentium 3.33Ghz Dual core, 4gb Ram and 500gb for Win 7 and 320GB for Linux. And is very fast.
