Hello all, thought I'd join up. I've tried a variety of distros, going all the way back to Redhat 5.0. Most recently came from PCLinuxOS, but I've heard good things about Mint. I just put Petra on an IBM ThinkCentre Pentium 4 to free it from Windows XP, and all is well.

H Dave - Welcome to Mint family. Just curious, which DE are you using? (Cinnamon / MATE / KDE)?

Anandrkris: I'm using Cinnamon.
Exploder: I'm in Macedonia, north of Akron. Nice up there by Conneaut, but very snowy.
Thanks all for the welcome!
