Hi Everyone
Windows user since forever.
Last week I gave up on Windows 7 on my Dell mini which had been running like a bag of sand for a year, and installed Mint 13 MATE. To say I was stunned at the speed increase is an understatement and was very impressed at how user-friendly it was.
Since then I pulled Vista from my mums creaking Vostro 1510 laptop and she is now happily running on Mint.
I'm in the process of replacing my aging XP main desktop work machine with a new MintBox 2 that arrived yesterday.
Lots to learn and feeling a complete newbie but just wanted to thank the team - fantastic work!

Excellent choice! I have thrashed Mint 13 for 2 years & it refuses to break...if I stay out of superuser...and promises three more years support. Mature without bloat (unlike me).

Great to hear.. Yup, Mint Rocks ... takes a while convincing family and friends to switch.. but once I refuse giving them pirated windows they are quite happy with Mint... can't wait for Qiana ...
