Hey guys,

I'm not 100% new to Linux or Linux Mint but I am getting more and more into it and have put together some thoughts on it and it brought out some questions. I probably should just ask them here but as I put them together in a blog post, I hope its not against the rules but this is the post I put together because there will be more background there than typing it all here.
