Greetings from Michigan!
Hi all! I'm Fallout301 (no durr I suppose ), and I've been a Linux enthusiast since around the Ubuntu 10.10 days, but my first foray into the world of the penguin was when my Vista laptop... I know.. ick ended up getting messed up and I tried to use Nimblex I believe, to fix it, I was a complete noob so I had no idea what I was doing and had no luck. Alas... I'm guilty of the most common crime in the Linux world.. distrohopping . Started with an Ubuntu 10.10 Wubi install, then XP crapped itself so i ended up wiping the whole drive and having like 3 different linux distros, I believe I had Ubuntu 10.10, Crunchbang, and I can't remember the 3rd. Then I got Win7 because of school and my Windows-only games, ran just that for a while, but the Linux bug bit me again and i ended up dualbooting with Sabayon 8 or 9 I believe, that.. had issues... so I dumped that, switched to Mint, and just been distrohopping around since then (I pity my poor hard drive ), but I always seem to come back to Mint, and the KDE edition has been doing me pretty well. My few years of Linux have definitely been educational, and I intend to keep learning more... I'll end my spiel here before I put all you fine folks to sleep .
