i have been using windows since 2000 when i had surgery and needed something to do during recovery so i got a mac to start out with ,then quickly went to windows because the cost of mac is just insane imo
never been too happy with windows since ME ,and have been procastrinating about switch to linux since XP came out
tried out ubuntu 3 year ago but life got in the way and i just never got back to it till a few weeks ago,ubuntu lay out was too dam weird for me to get the hang of
so i loaded up linux mint 17 MATE version and having been playing with it for the last 3 days and i am really liking it ....A lot
dam wish i would have made the switch when i was looking into "redhat"
btw,i have no formal PC training so i will be asking a few really "duh" type questions here and there
the "terminal" totally greek to meat this point too
