I am a 24 year-old Chinese junior mechinal engineer ,and have been play on Linux for a while (about 1 year and 2 months ) (Ubuntu...kali linux...Linux mint..)

China is not the country I like ,even I was born here , A lots of cool websites have been blocked by China Communist Party
I hope I can learn something about Linux here and be able to create some funny programs with the help of this community

Re: Hi Newbie from China ....
Actually I've never installed a Chinese version Linux before .I think Chinese language system is not compatible well with Linux system (half Chinese and half English in Terminal ,haha ,weird...),and Chinese language system has too many characters to be effectivePierre wrote:how do you think LinuxMint compares to Ubuntu Kylin ?.

Personally I prefer to install Linux in its default language ,So of course I've never installed Kylin which was supposed to be developed for Chinese User
Linuxmint is currently my favourite Linux Distribution...easy to use ,perfectly suitable to linux noob haha
