Hi, my name is Ridzwan Abdullah and I am a retired IT professional from Malaysia. I have been using Linux Mint for quite a while now. This is in addition to Windows 8.1, Mac OS X Mavericks and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Althought I have been using (and mostly used to) the Gnome version of Mint, this is my first venture into the modern KDE version. Oh I have used KDE before - mostly the old version on Slackware. The newer version of Mint KDE is an eye opener for me - easy to use, and not as 'bloated' as KDE goes. Kudos to Clement Lefebvre for this excellent distrobution.
One big issue (at least for me) is that it is extremely difficult to log onto the irc.spotchat.org IRC server and I have been trying for 2 days now without any success. I want a registeration code to join the cummunity. I fully understand the reasoning behind the code (spam control) but without the registeration code, how do I sign up to the Linux Mint community?
