Well I did it, I fired Microsoft and installed Linux Mint on my laptop. So far I really like it. I tried Ubuntu first and decided it really was not for me. I am sure I will be here many times looking for answers to questions that will arise until I become comfortable with the new OS. Anyway, I look forward to talking to those that can help me.
