I'm a retired software developer and have worked on IBM mainframes, HP-3000, AS/400 and lastly Windows and .NET development.
I am interested in completely abandoning the windows platform on my home PC and I would like to become proficient in Linux. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, this is my third day of using Linux Mint and I am impressed!

Welcome to the family, and Happy Minting!
Just keep using Mint everyday, and you'll be proficient in no time. Don't be afraid to try new things, but keep a good system backup!

Hello imdanos,
If you were able deal with AS400 you can definitely deal with Linux problems
