Hello to you all.
I am experiencing Linux Mint Helena for the very first time :? i don`t confess to know too much about computers at the best of times, but i am loving this. I do have a few iron out problem`s i`m sure i will overcome eventually especially the transferring of pictures to my friends in Pidgin although cannot find in Forum how to!! Love my chat`s to my friends & do send lot`s of photo`s. Do you think i should try Empathy or Skype?? :?:
Lovin Helena fan.

Welcome to LinuxMint and the Mint Forums.

Which "instant messenger" application/program are you using now?

And ... "how" do you post pics to your Chat Friends now?

Hello Flo4russells,
Welcome to Mint Forum.
I'm fairly sure you can send photos etc., via the chat window in Pidgin
Hopefully you'll find everything you need to know on the Pidgin site

Hi Vrkalak & Oscar,
Sorry i did`nt quite explain myself clearly enough.
I was sending all my pics through that other mob before i got Linux, but have not been able to through Pidgin. I will explore more into it, probably something sooo simple.
As i said, some ironing out to do!!!
Many thanks.

Did you try right-clicking on the panel and selecting "Add to Panel"? You will see MintMenu among the choices.
