Hello all, new to the forum, I've been running Linux Ubuntu 8.04 for the last couple of years. I got into a conversation with a guy on a photography forum because I was having issues with my XP box recognizing my Kodak camera. I told him that my Linux box would do it with no problem and he convinced me to switch to Mint. It sounded like from him I could just install mint over my existing ubuntu version. Alas, it was not so, I lost all of my old files, I look at it as a learning experience. I'll just start over and have as much fun with it as I did the first time. I still don't know as much as I would like to know about Linux, but I'm getting there, I love the change so far.
