Hi guys,

I am Karthik, a 18 year old tech enthusiast from India. I have been trying out various Linux distributions, but ultimately returned to Windows, until I stumbled across Mint... The thing that I hated about the other distributions was that they kept asking to download codecs for each and every format like avi, divx, mp4, mp3 etc. Although I have a broadband connection at home, I cant (even now) connect to net with Linux... But since Mint doesn't require to download codecs, I am enjoying it... Also, I have a bit of programming to do at college... and GCC lets me do that...

I am happy with Mint, and hats off to you guys
