So, now Im going to be upfront. The old versions of KDE and such were a pain in the ass to install and the video drivers were always a pain. Graphically I like windows. BUT WOW Ive been looking at MINT KDE screenshots and they are gorgeous!
BUT WAIT! I have XLS files from my job that only Office will open and when Openoffice tries it, it fails! OH NO! WRONG! Ive been looking at the you tube videos of people running VMware and WINE and running windows apps just fine. I will install JUST excel and be good.
