Hi all, after many unfruitful attempts i have finally found a linux distro that will install on my project laptop.

Just wanted to say hi to you all and say i hope to be here often both with questions, notions and to be part of the mint comunity.

Oh and thanks to 'Fred' on the post you made about 'Considerations before you install' it was a MASSIVE help on my install, managed to finally get partioned drives with 3 registered to the home directory.

Anyway thats my ramble for the day.

Thanks all for your help so far and i hope i can be of help in future too.
