I run Linux Mint from Virtual Machines, and feel paranoid about making a dual boot of another operating system, so until I can learn as much as I can from using a verity of Linux distributions, I continue to run other os's from VMs.
Distrowatch has brought me here, I have tried several distributions that are in Distrowatch's top 100, Ubuntu,
Fedora, openSUSE, Sabayon, gOS, and Mandriva to name a few. I have not tried the distribution in the number three spot and I have decided to try it, and after I did I deleted all VMs containing Ubuntu and replaced them with Linux Mint. I have Linux Mint pending as a dual boot along with openSUSE and Fedora, between the three I'm still deciding. Thank you for the time and effort placed into this operating system, it works like a dream on a VM.

Hello Hunter067 from Oregon. I lived in Dallas from '69 to '73 (I was Navy stationed at the Air Station in Grand Prairie). If you like Mint now, you'll love it on your HD. Runs better and faster. Have fun with Mint.
