Hi Everyone, latest Mint Lover

Postby Linouser on Fri Sep 24, 2010 6:07 am

As a long time Linux experimenter (heck started playing with it when I was about 14, 22 now btw) I have tried so many distros its not even funny. However I seemed to have become very fond of Mint. I look forward to using Linux Mint and becoming part of the community.

Hi Linouser, and welcome to the community. You've been around Linux a log time then. I briefly looked at it in 2003, then in January this year I read about Mint, and I've given up distro-hopping. It doesn't get any better than this.

Thank you so much for the welcome. I really appreciate it, I have been lurking on the forums for a bit and this looks like a cool community. I have already converted three of my machines

File Server/Media Server (Mint Gnome 9 x64 edition)
Laptop (Mint Gnome 9, normal edition with PAE kernel)
Desktop( Mint Gnome 9 x64 edition)

Just busy eying my finance's laptop, planning to convert it as well. I must just add that daap works perfectly in Mint. Even got my fiance's Itunes to see the one library.
