I'm new to Linux only been using for about a week now I cant think of a reason I waited so long its fantastic hope to learn more about it and maybe get involved some how. :-)

Welcome to the Mint Community B.Lonsdale. Hope you enjoy using Mint. The learning curve isn't as steep as you may have heard. You will find that the forums here have all the information you need to maintain and set up your Mint installation.
