Hi All
Greetings from Ireland, I have been using Ubuntu for 18 months but was not happy with the move towards Unity etc..........so using the good old freedom choice Linux gives, I switched to Mint about a month ago.
Its as if someone has made all the changes I would made to Ubuntu and designed a distro around them.
The auto installing of Flash and other hard to live without codecs
Strong focus on elegant and usable design
Offering built in options for backing up, desktop settings and boot splash screens
Best of all is how easy it is to get involved with software reviews, adding screen shots and putting forward your own ideas and contributing to others.[/list]
I will be sticking with Mint for a long time yet - thanks for all the hard work in putting it together
Greetings from Ireland
