Hello and greetings from Wales :-)

Sut mae pawb? Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!

I've just joined this forum as am new (i know, newbie) to Mint, been using Ubuntu 10.04 on other PC and now using, or trying to, Mint 10 on another PC. I've got a problem with it, which i've posted on the Installation board, so if you've nothing to do and can offer suggestions, all help gratefully received.

Happy to chat in English or Welsh and hopefully advance my knowledge of this wonderful operating system along the way! I've been previously using it alongside XP but decided to ditch XP altogether!

TTFN a phob hwyl!

Hi all

Many thanks for your welcomes, nice to be on a forum in which one is greeted as a newbie and not flamed :D

I resolved the problem I had with installation and am now very happily using Mint and honestly loving it. Did have a problem in loading my scanner but the great software and help that is available sorted that out for me.

I'm not a big fan of fora (or forums, if you prefer :) ) due to past experience but I think that may change quite soon.

Diolch o galon/ Many thanks
