Linux Mint Forums

Hi, I am back once again to using Linux and decided to give Mint a try. I have tried numerous versions (Mepis, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, etc...)in the past and once again I got tired of windows crap. I was pleased with the ease of installation with Mint and the way it looks. After installation I did have to connect with wire to update system files and download the Broadcom drivers required to get the wireless working. That leads me to a question if anyone reads this is, can the wireless drivers be slip streamed into the installation disc? I always seem to be installing and re-installing on my computer and this would be nice to be able to install right away. Thank You

I'm sure you will also want to visit our Mint Community Website at http://community.linuxmint.com/. You will find real-time help in our IRC channels. Just go to Menu>Internet>XChat IRC and when you open it you will automatically be taken to our #linuxmint-chat and #linuxmint-help channels.

I'm sure someone in the community, either here in the forums or on IRC can advise you on slipstreaming drivers. Have fun with Mint.
