Another Linux Mint Convert from the UK

Postby martinwebster on Sun Feb 27, 2011 4:40 pm

I've been using Linux on and off since the late 1990s and Ubuntu since 2008 (Hardy Heron.) I switched to Linux Mint a couple of weeks ago because I was getting increasingly frustrated with Ubuntu breaking... particularly Ubuntu One. Since I love the GNOME desktop and apt-based Linux distributions Linux Mint seemed like the obvious choice. Brilliant! It simply works out-of-the-box. What more can I say?
