Still a noob

Postby inhiway on Wed Mar 16, 2011 10:05 am

Hello Linux Mint fans. I've been a member here since Nov of last year I think. I've been hanging around Ubuntu/Kubuntu forums for a few years and kept hearing, er reading about Linux Mint. I like the KDE DE best, so I have Linux MInt 10 KDE X64 installed. The OS is working pretty well for me. I usually am able to find answers to my questions without having to ask. If there's a problem, someone else usually has run into it, too.

There seems to be a knowlegeable and friendly bunch here and I'm glad I decided to give Linux Mint KDE a try. I am liking it.

Thanks for the welcomes. I have already read the tips and tricks thread and found it very interesting and informative. Thanks for the link to the Linux Mint Community. Got it bookmarked now. I had XChat wiped clean, but I used an article at LMC to reconfigure the Mint IRC channels. Might even give them a browse soon.
