Me

Postby ubuntu user on Fri Mar 18, 2011 11:20 pm

Hi folks, I'm a retired Nuclear Power Plant worker and worked at over 30 US nuclear plants as a contractor for over 25 years.
During that time I participated in over 75 refueling outages doing maintenance (valve repair).

I'm an American and I live in Elko, Nevada USA.

I've been using linux since the early Ubuntu days (2005).
I have Mint 10 installed on a USB external drive.

My interests include firearms (mostly handguns) and computers.

Welcome aboard!

As a nuclear worker, you will be familiar with dangerous and hidden knowledge and good process
--so you will not have been intimidated in any way by the Linux and Open Source mindset

Just as a matter of curiosity, did you see the windows OS invasion start in those facilities, before you retired
    If so, Darn
